ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF INSTRUCTION
OFF CAMPUS INSTRUCTION
OFF CAMPUS INSTRUCTION
Off campus instruction is an alternative method of instruction in which the student and instructor are both at a physical location other than a Navarro College location.
STANDARDS
Off campus instruction shall comply with the standards and criteria set forth for all Navarro College courses.
Navarro College off campus courses will be awarded the same credit hours as traditional courses.
The District President will ensure that procedures are in place regarding off-campus instruction to meet accreditation requirements as well as state and federal statutes.
STUDENT SUCCESS
Off campus students shall be provided academic and student support services appropriate for off campus courses such as, but not limited to, advising, career counseling, library, tutoring and other resources.
FACULTY
Faculty will be hired using the same credentialing process for off campus instruction and shall meet the same criteria as all other faculty members of Navarro College.
FEES
Off campus courses are subject to additional fees. Students will be notified of additional fees at the time of registration.
