Testing Center Policies and Procedures

Identification

All testing at the Navarro College Testing Centers requires a valid photo identification (ID).  Acceptable forms of ID include, but are not limited:

Type of Photo ID

Examples

Government-issued ID

Driver's license, state identification card, military ID card, visa, or passport

School-issued ID

Navarro College or other educational institution photo ID card

Employer-issued ID

Work or company photo ID card

Membership ID

Photo identification from professional or community organizations

 

Note: Some test may have special identification requirements. Please review the requirements for your particular exam prior to testing. 

 

Personal Items

For security and fairness, personal items are not permitted in the Testing Center and cannot be stored by staff. Restricted items include, but are not limited to:

  • Cell phones

  • Calculators and all other electronic devices

  • Backpacks, purses, or bags

  • Books or study materials

  • Food, drinks, or tobacco products

Lockers are available at testing locations for storage during your exam. All personal items must fit completely inside a locker. If your items do not fit, please make other arrangements before your test appointment.  

 

Accessibility & Accommodations

If you require testing accommodations, please contact the Office of Accessibility & Accommodations Coordinator located in the Bulldog Life Office within the Navarro College-Corsicana Library.

Academic Dishonesty

Navarro College expects all students to complete their own academic work honestly and ethically. Academic dishonesty includes, but is not limited to, cheating during a test or using unauthorized materials.

Violations may result in disciplinary action, which can include:

  • Cancellation of test scores

  • Revocation of Testing Center privileges

  • Additional sanctions as outlined in the Student Code of Conduct. 

 

Children in Testing Centers

As a courtesy to all test-takers, children are not allowed in Testing Centers. Staff cannot supervise children.  Please make appropriate child care arrangements prior to your test appointment.

 

Test Fee Policy

Please note: All test fees are non-refundable. Ensure that you schedule and prepare accordingly before completing your payment.
