How to Search Classes Online
SELF-SERVICE FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS OR GUESTS
Guests may search the current course schedule without logging in! Use the Self-Service link for guests and start searching for courses and course sections.

Subject Search: Browse courses alphabetically and filter results.

Advanced Search: Search by term, date, subject, or location.
Schedule information provided by Self-Service is ‘live’ and never out-of-date.

Pre-Registration Checklist
Follow these steps to avoid registration problems adn ensure a smooth process.
STEP 1: Explore Navarro College Tracks

Request information on programs of interests.

STEP 2: Apply for Admission
For new or returning students (not enrolled with Navarro College for more than one year):
-
Complete a free application online on ApplyTexas.
-
Submit all official transcripts. Beginning Student: Official High School Transcript or High School Equivalency (HSE) Scores. Transfer Student: Official transcripts from all colleges attended.

Provide proof of Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination. Must be submitted 10 days before the first day of class. Exemption information is available online on the College's Bacterial Meningitis page.

If required, submit proof of residency. This is only if requested by the Office of Admissions.

All admissions documents, including offiical transcripts (in a sealed envelope), may be mailed or hand delivered at specific locations:

STEP 3: Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships
-
Visit the Financial Aid website for information and instructions on how to apply for aid and scholarships.

U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens: Apply on the Student Aid website ( Navarro College School Code is 003593 ).

Students admitted under Texas House Bill 1403/Texas Senate Bill 1528, see the Financial Aid Office or visit the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) website and apply online.

Check your Self-Service portal after 3-5 business days to complete your checklist.

STEP 4: Apply for Housing (Corsicana Location only)

Complete a housing application online on the Residence Life website.
-
Submit a $240 housing deposit.
-
Pass a background check.
BEFORE CHECK-IN
-
Enroll in 15 semester credit hours and check out on Self-Service with financial aid, payment plan or full payment.

Pay room and board online on MyNC.
-
Review and submit Housing Agreement Terms and Conditions.
-
Complete the online Personal Property Information form.
-
Review residence hall rules and policies.
-
Consider personal property insurance for your belongings.

STEP 5: Complete a Placement Test

Take the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment and submit test scores at time of registration. Exemptions are available online at the College for All Texans website.

Complete the required PreAssessment Activity prior to taking the TSI Assessment.

Schedule an appointment with the Testing Center available at each campus. Bring a photo identification and $35 testing fee.

STEP 6: Request an Appointment with a Success Coach

To connect with the appropriate advisor, email Academic Advising or call (903) 875-7397.

To prepare for your appointment with an advisor, please complete the following steps:

Submit all transcripts

Submit Bacterial Meningitis (All students 22 and younger)

Complete and submit TSI scores if required.

Write down any questions you may have for your advisor: Educational & Career Goals, Transfer questions, Timeline to completion or transfer

STEP 7: Complete Pre-Registration

Pay by phone through the Cashier's Office or online via Self-Service.

To apply & accept review the financial aid offers.

STEP 8: Student Identification Card and Parking Permit
To request your student identification card and parking permit, complete the Vehicle Registration form through Self-Service.

STEP 9: Purchase Books and Supplies
Visit the Navarro College Bookstore website and select a campus and the purchase textbooks online.
CURBSIDE PICK-UP
To schedule a curbside pick-up, call the College Bookstore on any campus to make arrangements.
