Beta Upsilon Chi Chapter
The name of the Navarro College Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society is Beta Upsilon Chi. This chapter is part of the Texas region which is within Division II of the International Honor Society. It is a non-profit organization of students at Navarro College (NC) who have met the requirements for membership and have been accepted as members of the Society.
The purpose of Beta Upsilon Chi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Navarro College shall be the promotion of scholarship, the development of leadership and service, and the cultivation of fellowship among qualified students of this college.
The Beta Upsilon Chi Chapter is an active chapter that works hard to support Phi Theta Kappa, Navarro College-Midlothian, Navarro College-Waxahachie, and any online student who wants to join the northern campuses. We are active in fundraising, charity drives, encouraging fellowship among college students, taking leadership roles on and off campus, continuing our education and scholarly endeavors, and above all, we are committed to having fun.
The Beta Upsilon Chi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Navarro College was founded in 2013 and has four officers, including a Chapter President, a Vice President of Services, a Vice President of Induction, and a Secretary. Chapter meetings take place every first Friday of the month at 9:00 a.m. in Room 113A at the Navarro College-Waxahachie location.
