Degree and Certifications Earned
Graduates of the John Deere TECH Program at Navarro College leave with both academic credentials and industry-recognized certifications that prepare them for immediate employment and long-term career growth.
Upon successful completion of the two-year program, students will earn:

An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Agriculture Mechanization Technology.

Diesel Maintenance I and II Certificates (included within the AAS degree).

An Enhanced (Agriculture) Technical Skills Certificate (included within the AAS degree).

A Level 2 or Level 3 Certified Technician status through John Deere University, reflecting advanced technical training and skill development.

A MACS Section 609 Certification, qualifying graduates to safely handle mobile refrigerants in compliance with federal regulations.
These combined achievements demonstrate mastery of both academic knowledge and technical skills, ensuring graduates are well-prepared to begin their careers as John Deere service technicians and advance within the industry.
