At Navarro College, we strive to provide top quality education that combines hands-on practice and high-tech learning to prepare you for a fulfilling career in your chosen health professions discipline, including LVN-to-RN Bridge, Medical Labatory Technology, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Registered Nursing, RN-to-BSN Bridge, and Vocational Nursing.
Our programs will take you beyond the classroom where our students practice in a variety of healthcare and human service-oriented settings located throughout the local and regional community. Other program features include clinical work at local and national healthcare facilities, small classes with personalized faculty support and mentorship, sophisticated labs with high-fidelity simulation manikins, and technology/instrumentation that practitioners use every day.

Executive Dean of Health Professions & Navarro College-Waxahachie
Since 2006, Guy Featherston has served in numerous leadership capacities at Navarro College and is currently the Executive Dean of Health Professions & Navarro College-Waxahachie. He leads a multidisciplinary team of health profession educators in providing innovative health care curriculum and clinical services that address the needs of the Navarro College community and society. Featherston was instrumental in establishing a Registered Nurse (RN) to Baccalaureate Degree Nursing (BSN) Program. The new program begins in Fall 2023 with the first class expected to graduate in August 2024. Credentials
