The Navarro College Physical Plant department is committed to making our campus a clean, safe, and comfortable place for students, staff, visitors, and faculty. The Physical Plant department offers a wide range of services to efficiently operate and maintain our campus buildings, utilities, and grounds to provide the best environment for living and learning.

 

MAINTENANCE

The Maintenance Crew is responsible for the following:

• Supervising housekeeping contractors

• Carpentry

• Painting

• Plumbing

• Electrical

• Locksmith

• Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning

• Vehicle Maintenance

• D.O.T. approved driver for college buses

• College Signage

• Furniture assembly

• Surplus removal & sale

 

GROUNDS

The contracted Grounds Crew is responsible for the following:

• Campus turf maintenance

• Removal and fall leaf cleaning

• Roads, parking lots and paths

• Tree & shrub trimming

• Flower bed maintenance
