Posted on May 22, 2019
I received a Leadership Scholarship to attend Navarro in 1975. I was also extended the opportunity to play football and be part of the 1975/1976 football team. I am greatly indebted to Navarro College. We had a wonderful and caring administration, faculty, and coaching staff. I still stay in touch with several of the faculty members during my time there as well as the coaches. Not only did I gain great educational strategies, I experienced many life lessons that I use today. The people at Navarro are special and am thankful for the many doors it has opened for me. I would absolutely encourage students to attend Navarro College. It gave me the confidence and motivation to continue my education and career. I cannot say enough good things. A truly wonderful and gratifying experience. There was never a doubt in my mind that everyone involved in my experience at Navarro truly had my best interest at heart. I know that, because I experienced it. Navarro College will always have a special place in my heart.
I am presently the Head Football Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at Corsicana High School. I have been fortunate to be in the education business for 39 years and had several stops in our great state. I have been married to Sallie for 38 years. We have a son Chase, daughter-in-law Shay and daughter, Chelsie. We have 3 beautiful grand kids. Chase and Shay have blessed us with Cal, 3, and Cash, 1. Chelsie has blessed us with Weston, 4.
