The Navarro College Theatre Department invites you and your family to 911 Gnomes: A Christmas Emergency, a play for children by Shellie O’Neal. Performances will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 and at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 17, 18. All performances will be given in Dawson Auditorium, and admission is free.
Donations will be accepted to fund student tickets for the cast and crew to see A Christmas Carol at Dallas Theater Center.
The story: The elves at the East Annex of Santa’s Workshop have caught the flu and have fallen behind on their toy-making schedule. Santa sends Rudolph to ask the gnomes of Gnomes Knoll for help, and an exciting journey to the North Pole begins! The gnomes will meet Frosty the Snowman and other fun friends along the way, and they will learn the importance of helping others in their times of need.
After the one-hour performance, the lobby will be filled with photo booths with Santa, Frosty, Rudolph, the elves, the gnomes, and the reindeer.
Please come and support our students’ work and catch the Christmas spirit.
