Navarro College's Bookstores Director was recently honored with the Southwest College Bookstore Association's Appreciation Award and the SWCBA presidential ring. The presentation was made during the organization's annual meeting and campus market exposition in Stillwater, Oklahoma, October 16-18, 2022.

 

Ms. Terri Mitchell served as President of the Southwest College Bookstore Association from 2021-2022, an organization which represents college store members in the five-state regional area including Arkansas, Louisana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.  She is currently Chair of the SWCBA Nomination Committee and Chair of the SWCBA Strategic & Membership & Growth Committee.  She has been a member of the Southwest College Bookstore Association for eight years.

Mitchell is the 46th president of the Southwest College Bookstore Association since its inception in 1974. She has been director of Navarro College Bookstores since 2014.
