The Navarro College Board of Trustees shall approve the maintenance of the accounts of the College District within federal and state guidelines.
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING
The system of accounting for and reporting financial activities of the College District must be consistent with federal and state guidelines and may not misrepresent the nature, scope, or duration of the financial activity of the college district.
Navarro College shall account for all personal property according to state guidelines. The property records of Navarro College will accurately reflect the personal property possessed by the institution.
The accounts of Navarro College shall be audited annually by an independent auditor within state guidelines.
PAYROLL DEDUCTION PROCEDURES
Navarro College shall make periodic deductions from employees’ salaries or wages in accordance with state law or salary reduction agreements executed between the college district and employee.
