(In fondest memory of Dr. Jane Watson Walker, who passed away November 13, 2022)

  • Graduated from Corsicana High School in 1951 at the age of 16.

  • Attended Navarro College and earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Baylor University in 1954.

  • Earned her Ph.D degree from East Texas State University in Commerce.

  • First faculty member for the Texas A&M University-Commerce program at Navarro College
