Ricky W. Griffin holds the Jeanne & John R. Blocker Chair in Business and is University Distinguished Professor of Management in Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.

His research has appeared in Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, and several other leading journals.

Professor Griffin has served as both Associate Editor and then Editor of the Journal of Management.

He has also edited several scholarly books, most recently The Dark Side of Organizational Behavior.
 - 
                        
                        
Griffin is currently involved in research projects related to the topics of talent management and emergent leadership.
 - 
                        
                        
Serves as Founding Editor and Editor-in-Chief of Oxford Bibliographies Online, an internet-based resource currently used by several hundred global university libraries.
