(In fondest memory of Joe Breithaupt, who passed away May 28, 1974)

A graduate of Emhouse High School, he served in the Navy during WWII as a radioman.
 - 
                        
                        
He was on the Lexington when it sunk during the Battle of Coral Sea and was on the Yorktown when it sunk during the Battle of Midway.
 - 
                        
                        
The Navy never let him get on another ship again.
 - 
                        
                        
After WWII he graduated from Navarro in 1949 where he was a member of the Pre-Engineering Club and Phi Theta Kappa.
 - 
                        
                        
He went on to Oklahoma University where he graduated as an electrical engineer.
 - 
                        
                        
A long-time employee of Texas Instruments in Dallas.
