Biology
The Biology program provides a hands-on approach with a curriculum that emphasizes learning about life processes by making observations, asking questions, and testing hypothesis through experimentation. Courses provide in-depth knowledge in cellular, molecular, genetics, ecology, evolution, and behavior. Students increase their ability to think critically, synthesize information, and communicate effectively. Our Associate of Science (AS) degree in Biology is an appropriate transfer curriculum for students who plan to pursue a degree in biology at a senior college or university after completing their studies at Navarro College.
