Faculty Scholarship Application

The Navarro College Scholarship Program is designed to help students who have special needs. The basic consideration in awarding these faculty scholarships is financial need. However, leaderships, school and community involvement, special recognition, skills and talents, academic achievement, and the field of study also may be considered.

Application Instructions

Items you need to compete your Application Packet:
(If your application packet is incomplete, you will not be considered for the Faculty Scholarship.)

  1. Application - All questions must be accurately completed. Omission or falsification of any information may result in disqualification.
  2. Reference Letter - You must submit a letter of recommendation from a Navarro College Faculty Member. Please ask that the letter be sent to one of the following:
    • Dr. Ruth Penque, Navarro College, 3200 W. 7th Ave., Corsicana, TX 75110

  3. Current transcript - You must have successfully completed twelve hours work at Navarro College to be eligible to apply for the Faculty Scholarship.  Please see to it that your current Navarro College transcript is sent to:
    Dr. Ruth Penque, Navarro College, 3200 W. 7th Ave., Corsicana, TX 75110.
  4. Admission Requirements - Admission to Navarro College is required as a condition for a scholarship reward. If you have not submitted an application, you should contact the Admissions Office for further information.
