The Criminal Justice Program is designed to prepare students to enter the criminal justice field as Law Enforcement Officers. Upon successful completion of the program students will graduate with an Associate in Applied Science Degree or an Associate in Arts Degree.

The Criminal Justice program is designed to prepare students to enter the Criminal Justice field as Law Enforcement Officers. Upon completion, the student will graduate with an Associate in Applied Science Degree. TECH PREP: Articulated credit may be available for some courses students complete while in high school. The transfer curriculum shown below is designed for students who plan to transfer to a senior college or university. Upon completion, the student will graduate with an Associate in Arts degree.
Police Academy
Navarro College has a fully licensed Police Academy offering Basic Peace Officer Certification and In-Service Training for licensed law enforcement officers.
The Basic Peace Officer Academy includes 680 hours of training in law, defensive tactics, firearms, first aid, patrol tactics and cultural diversity. Upon successful completion of the academy students are eligible to take the TCLEOSE licensing examination.
